Community Connections is a nationally recognized agency which is the largest, not for profit, behavioral health services provider in Washington DC. We seek passionate services-oriented professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of adults with mental illness. We serve DC residents who experience not only mental illness, but also co-occurring problems of addiction, poverty, episodic homelessness, trauma, and involvement in the criminal justice system. We have openings in two different levels of service. Please see our ads with descriptions for
- Rehabilitation Specialist in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, which provides the most intense services within multi-disciplinary teams (requires Associates degree or BA/BS);
- Community Support Specialist, which provides solution-focused supports in a more independent community service model (requires BA/BS);
We also seek those with more advanced degrees, (e.g. MSW/LGSW, MA/LGPC) to provide more advanced clinical services within these teams.
Candidates must pass a background check, have a clean driving record as well as a reliable vehicle to transport consumers and navigate community work as most of the work is done in the community.
