Rapid Rehousing Specialist

CC’s Clinical Housing Department has an opening in our Launch Initiative for Transition Age Youth (LIFT) Program for a Rapid Rehousing Specialist to provide housing navigation services to young adults who are exiting homelessness and transitioning to permanent housing. The Rapid Rehousing Specialist will collaborate with a large network of community landlords to assist program participants in identifying viable permanent housing that is safe, decent, and affordable. The Rapid Rehousing Specialist will also closely coordinate with The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness to complete program eligibility tasks. Along with a passion for preventing homelessness and collaborating with youth, ideal candidates will also have demonstrated strong collaboration and working in team environment; experience working in residential services and/or customer service; and strong clinical and administrative skills including sound documentation and organizational practices. 

Required Qualifications are:

1. Bachelors in a relevant field (or 4 years of employment/volunteer experience in related field),

2. Minimum 2 years of experience working in residential services and/or customer service field,

3. Prior experience with young adults who have experienced housing instability, homelessness, poverty, limited networks of support,

4. Prefer experience working with LGBTQ+ people and other individuals from historically marginalized communities

Candidates must pass a background check, have a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record as most of the work is done in the community and may involve transporting clients.
