Jack Kline Retires
After 29 years with Community Connections, Jack Kline has retired.
Our beloved “Mayor” began working at Community Connections in 1987 as a case manager/clinical supervisor and has held a variety of positions since then including program director for substance abuse treatment, recruitment coordinator, program director for supported employment, and Chief of Community Support.
Mr. Kline, a licensed independent clinical social worker in both Washington, DC and Maryland, gradated from American University in 1975 with a degree in political science and obtained an MSW from the University of Maryland in 1988. Mr. Kline has worked with adults diagnosed with mental illness, including those with dual disorders, homeless population, and women in recovery from substance use for the past 25 years. During his years with Community Connections, Mr. Kline impacted countless lives in both staff and consumers he served. He worked hard to reduce the stigma of mental illness in his local community. His dedication to those he’s worked with will go on for years to come. Mr. Kline will be missed and we wish him all the best in his retirement.
