Everyone should come out with the special men in their lives and celebrate at the J-Raz’ Annual Father’s Day Cookout. This is a monumental year because we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the event. The idea for this cookout originated because the founder, Jeffery Rascoe, realized that there were so many different men that he knew that were being a strong influence and positive role model to the younger generation. He did not want to just focus on fathers but all the men whether it be a friend, family member or mentor that impact a child’s day to day life and bring them together for a cookout on Father’s Day. The cook out will be hosted at Rosaryville State Park in Marlboro, MD. Last year they had 450+ attendees coming from nearby counties and other states and this year should be no different. What can you expect at the cook out? A wonderful day filled with food cooked by Chef Ron of the MGM Grand Hotel, DJ Big John playing music all day, free health screenings and games. This is more than a cookout it is a celebration. Make it a point to come out and celebrate the male influences in your life on this special day.
