Community Connections took part in the NBC 4 Health and Fitness Expo on January 18th and 19th. Our table in the Changing Minds Section displayed many different mental health agencies in the district. Mental health is a major aspect of a person’s overall health and Community Connections was there to educate people about the importance of making your mental health a priority. Over 800 people stopped by our table, spun the wheel of mindfulness and received information on stress, anxiety, self-soothing and much more. This year we had information regarding job openings, Family and Children's Program, Outpatient Addiction Services and Homeless Services at Community Connections.
