Community Connections is excited to launch a new training and practice program:

 

Think Clinically

   Act Practically ^™

 

We have all heard the phrase --- "Think globally, act locally" --- be aware of the big picture, the long range strategy, the ultimate goal, but make concrete immediate changes that people can see and experience in the everyday actions of their own lives.

 

There is an analogous phrase for helping case managers and other clinical staff to think about clinical problems involving people with serious mental illness and multiple other social and environmental problems --- "Think Clinically Act Practically."

 

Both parts of this mantra are critical to devising accurate, thoughtful treatment plans, to documenting the work that is done and to billing for the services that are rendered.
