Reception, Safety, and Triage Specialist

The Reception, Safety, and Triage Specialist will join a team of 5 staff providing reception, safety, and triage services, known as "Milieu Support Services" at the agency’s main location 801 Pennsylvania Ave, SE. You will works along-side clinical and program staff in the main waiting area, throughout the building, and around the nearby neighboring streets to enhance person-centered access and promote community wellbeing. Due to the high visibility and frequency of interactions, the reception, safety, and triage staff are often the first responders, or may be the back-up support to a variety of situations involving clients, staff, or other stakeholders. High School Diploma required plus 2 years relevant experience working in direct services settings (e.g., outpatient, residential, hospital, etc.), preferably with adults experiencing mental health, addiction, trauma, homelessness, poverty. BA in psychology, social work or relevant human services discipline preferred.

Property Accounting Manager

We seek a property accountant to manage the financial accounting of the residential and commercial portfolio as well as all property, plant and equipment of the organization. The ideal property accountant should be fluent in Yardi Voyager (or a similar property management software) and have experience in data migration and software upgrades/implementation. He/she should have hands-on-managerial experience with strong technical skills in accounting and be able to produce accurate and timely financial information to both internal and external users.

IT Service Help Desk Manager

Manage the team responsible for operating the first line component of the IT Service Help Desk within Community Connections. To provide leadership and develop a Customer First culture within the IT team as they represent the main route for all customers to access the Community Connections IT Services. This position also functions as the technical team lead and application owner of critical organizational assets and programs. Directly supervise 2-3 Information Technology Specialists.

Revenue Cycle Manager

The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the timely billing and collections of all services delivered by Community Connections to consumers in DC and Maryland. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the successful management, administration, and supervision of all functions related to insurance billing and collections performed, including but not limited to posting charges and payments, resolving denials and rejections, collections, and payment adjustments. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent OR five (5) years of revenue cycle management experience required; At least three (3) years of medical revenue cycle management experience required with a consistent track record of achieving metrics and at least two (2) years supervisory experience successfully resolving a variety of people issues. HR Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for administration of employee benefits for the agency’s 300+ staff. Employee benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability, retirement plans, FSA, and EAP. Junior IT Help Desk Technician

The Junior IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for Level 1 Help Desk support with escalation procedures for troubleshooting and remediating issues presented to the Community Connections Helpdesk. These requests may come via phone, in-person, email, or the Helpdesk ticketing system. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to end users, computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, creates/updates tickets, isolates problem, and determines and implements solutions or escalation procedures.
